"Pick a number. Grab some breakfast and something to drink. Oh here's your name tag." Our discussion co-leader Kristina told us all this before we even took our coats off. What a way to start our discussion about Amelia Bedelia--just a few things out of order.
It was great to see all the girls again. We had 4 new girls today. They were not at the January meeting but 1 was with the book club last year. Our little book club is now at 17 girls!!!! WOW!

The moms did it again. The bagels, cream cheese, chocolate chip muffins, donuts, orange and apple juice and of course, hot chocolate with mini marshmallows was ready for us. Yummy, yummy, yummy!!!!!!

We began by sitting in a circle so that we could all see each other. I sat next to Ms. Patricia. Kristina called a number and whoever had the number, she read them the question. That was a cool way so no one was put on the spot to be first. All of us answered our questions. There were a couple of questions, where Ms. Patricia had us turn to different pages in the book. Once everyone answered their question, we moved back to the tables where we worked on our craft project.
In the story, as the boy Mark was checking out this book, Mrs. Page said, "Here is your book Mark." Amelia Bedelia overheard her and said, "Yippee! Free bookmarks for everyone!". So our craft project was creating our own bookmarks. Yippee!!! Flowers, butterflies, ribbon and sparkles!!!! After creating our bookmarks, we ate more of our breakfast treats and fellowship with each other.

Next months' book discussion is sure to be yummy -- something about jelly beans!!!
