...you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life... Philippians 2:15 (NIV)
Boy what a fancy morning we had. This Fancy Nancy always find a way to make things fancy. Even a trip to the planetarium to see and learn about the constellation. A few of our fancy words from this book are: constellation, fascinating, planeterium, and meteor.

BaseBall Ballerina Book Discussion
Take me out the ball game! Take me out to the crowd! Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks, I don't care if I never get back.
"Point your toes. First position. Second Position. Third Position. Point your toes!"
Baseball and Ballet. What a combination! On Saturday, April 24th, our discussion was all about a young girl who loves baseball but whose mom thought she needed to take ballet lessons to act more like a girl. Agh! Girls can play sports as well as take ballet lessons and enjoy them both. I do and some of the other girls in the book club play soccer, take ballet, tap and hip hop lessons. She didn't want her fellow team members to know but in the end, they all thought she rocked as a ballerina!
We personalized baseball caps with permanent markers and fabric paint. Some of us used our favorite colors, made flowers, wrote our names, made a garden. Thank you Ms. Connie and Meghan for a fun project. We missed you and the others at the book club meeeting (some members had soccer games, were sick and attending the Autism Walk-a-thon). Check out our creativity!
See you at next month's discussion!
